Old Town Cooperative Preschool (OTCP) was established in 1971.

At Old Town, parents participate in their child’s education, observing and learning along with them. Your child will learn social, physical, and emotional skills through cooperative play and planned experiences.

We proudly offer families a variety of educational services and  parenting support from experienced early childhood professionals through our affiliation with the Child Studies Department at Bates Technical College.

OTCP is located in the heart of Tacoma’s Historic Proctor District. Our close proximity to the Proctor District allows us the opportunity for many walking field trips to such places as the Wheelock Library, Chalet Bowl, North End Veterinary Clinic, the Post Office, Metropolitan Market, Washington-Hoyt Elementary School and the Fire Station, to name a few.
